Metro Hoops Developmental League -  The Metro Hoops Developmental League, also known as the D-LEAGUE is bar none the ultimate in developmental basketball for boys and girls in grades 2 through 8. We at Metro Hoops believe that both practice and application are important to the complete development of young boys and girls in the early stages of their career. The D-league consists of 45 minutes of fundamentals and skills followed by a live game with officials.

 

 

Metro Hoops Freshman/Sophomore Showcase is a camp for the top Freshmen and Sophomores in the Northeast. This showcase assembles the metro areas most talented players who want to compete against the best. This is a very intense 2-day setting. Each player will be assigned to a team and participate in 2-4 games per day. This event is for serious player only!


 

 

Metro Hoops Basketball Association is hosting a select basketball league for teams in the Northern and Central Jersey area. This year we will have multiple divisions in grades 4-9 competing in our Metro Hoops Basketball league. We anticipate filling up divisions quickly. Metro Hoops Regional Rankings will be posted every Tuesday. The rankings will feature the top 10 teams in the region regardless of league affiliation. Prep, parochial and public schools are all eligible for these rankings.  The criteria considered are a school's strength of schedule, the quality of competition in its state or league and quality of its players.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Metro Hoops Super 10 Week 10

1. St. Benedicts Prep, NJ*(26-2)-The Gray Bees lost a close to National Power Oak Hill Academy. This had to be one of the best games in the history of the Primetime Shootout.
                                                                               2. Bloomfield Tech, NJ (19-1)-The Spartans ran past Trenton Central (76-46) then jumped on Weequahic 91-61 in the Essex County Tournament Quarterfinal. The Spartans face Leap Academy (Tuesday) and Seton Hall Prep (Saturday) in the Essex County Tournament Semifinal.
 

3. Episcopal Academy, PA*(25-4)-The Churchmen battled for a tough win against #5 St. Patricks at the Primetime Shootout. The Philly boys have shown the maturity to win Big Time games.
 

4. St. Anthony, NJ (20-1)-The Friars have a tough one against St. Raymonds (Thursday) then tangle with Brian Zoubek and Haddonfield (Saturday).
 

5. Wings, NY (25-0)-The Bronx School finished the season undefeated by defeating Stevenson 83-51.
 

6. Roman Catholic, PA (21-2)-RC blasted Kennedy-Kenrick 89-54 in their only contest of the week.
 

7. CBA, NJ (20-1)-The Colts hold the top seed in the Shore Conference Tournament and Dan Werner has been slaying the competition averaging close to 40 points the last 3 games.
 

8. Rice, NY (17-4)-The Raiders have found their stride at the right time. They are focused to bring the Catholic League City title back to Harlem.
 

9. Lincoln, NY (21-3)-The Railsplitters avenged an early season loss to Grady and knocked off an always talented Monteverde Academy of Florida.
 

10. St. Patricks, NJ (19-4)-The Celtics bring up the rear this week after falling to Episcopal Academy 60-55 at the Primetime Shootout.
