6-foot point guard Jordan Theodore from Paterson
Catholic High School in New Jersey has had a super summer, and has become a hot
prospect. Mr. Theodore has been receiving plenty of high major college interest.
This summer Theodore was one of the main cogs on the powerful 16U Gauchos Team.
The Gauchos 16 and under team won several major tournaments this year, including
the Five Star Hoop Classic, the Rumble in the Bronx, and the Peach Jam.
Jordon handles the rock well and has started to develop a consistent jump shot.
Hes super quick and can distribute the ball to his teammates when help arrives
as he attacks the basket.
Theodore has demonstrated all summer long that he can score anytime, or
anywhere. With development of his jump shot it's going to be tougher for
defenders to stop him during the high school season.
"I am not shocked that Jordon is attracting so much interest. He can flat out
play" said first year Paterson Catholic head coach Damon Wright. "He's just as
good as the other top prospects in the class of 2008 - Travon Woodhaul, Ashton
Gibbs, and Mike Rosario". "I'm expecting big things from him this year."
added coach Wright. "Especially his leadership".
The 2008 prospect is hearing from Seton Hall,
Georgetown, Illinois, Arizona, St. John's, Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati.
