At the
Metro Hoops Generation Next Camp Travis put
on a show. He
led
his team to the camp championship by sharing
the ball with his teammates and making big
plays in what was the most competitive age
division in camp. In a losing effort
it was impossible for any player to keep him
out of the lane once he imposed his will on
them. ( Camp averages of 8.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2
assists and 1.2 steals).
The swift
Guard dribbles as though the ball is
attached to his hand. At Generation
Next there were very few 6 graders who could
stay in front of him. "I got caught-up
in just watching him take guys one on one."
said camp coach Jerry Austin. " I
haven't seen a player that young with so
many one-on-one moves in a long time."
What's most
impressive with Travis is his will to win.
"Travis never quits." added Coach Austin.
"He loves to compete. He was a
pleasure to coach."
Travis with
be playing ball this winter with the loaded New
York Sky Rider 12U AAU basketball program.
