Metro Hoops Developmental League -  The Metro Hoops Developmental League, also known as the D-LEAGUE is bar none the ultimate in developmental basketball for boys and girls in grades 2 through 8. We at Metro Hoops believe that both practice and application are important to the complete development of young boys and girls in the early stages of their career. The D-league consists of 45 minutes of fundamentals and skills followed by a live game with officials.

 

Metro Hoops Freshman/Sophomore Showcase is a camp for the top Freshmen and Sophomores in the Northeast. This showcase assembles the metro areas most talented players who want to compete against the best. This is a very intense 2-day setting. Each player will be assigned to a team and participate in 2-4 games per day. This event is for serious player only!

Youth Interlock Prevails In Final

Jabree Clayton led all scorers with 27 points and Desmond Irving added 17 markers as Youth Interlock of Chester Pennsylvania defeated Team NJ Elite to win the 14 and Under Championship. Dondre Whitmore finished with 17 points for Team NJ in the loss.

Desmond Irving 57 Guard (Youth Interlock)- Irving didnt finish with the most points but his play was very clutch and vital to his teams success. He hit major pull up jumpers in the lane and dropped teardrops over Team NJs interior defense. He is just one of many terrific guards in the Youth Interlock stable.

Other Top Championship Performers

Tyreek Duren 510 Guard (Youth Interlock)- Duren is the leader and floor general of the Chester squad. His ability to dribble drive and kick allows the other guards to get open looks or mismatches on the perimeter. His size and power will be very useful on the high school level.

Jabree Clayton 57 Guard (Youth Interlock)- Clayton was a blur in the open floor and cat quick while attacking from the perimeter. He has a smooth crossover and lightning fast moves. It will be tough for anyone to handle Clayton once he gets moving forward.

Dondre Whitmore 59 Guard (Team NJ Elite)- Whitmore played with passion and tried to keep his club in the game. He was one of the few Team NJ players that could match the Chester guards speed. His jump shot has improved and hes becoming more of a true point guard.
